Savouring Singapore: Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux

Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux

After a 10km trail run at the MacRitchie Trails (MacRitchie Reservoir Park) one Saturday morning, together with friends, we went to Freshly Baked. After more than an hour of running, with two short brisk walks in between, we thought we deserved this big brunch. The three of us ordered the same set brunch. Why Freshly Baked? Because they have bakers on standby and you can smell the fresh aroma of breads, cakes, cookies and so on.

It is always, always safe to go to restaurants recommended by foodie friends. Freshly Baked serves Western Food and was recommended to us by Jeffer, Olive and Jay.

The brunch set, plus a refreshing fruit juice or coffee, would be around 15SGD. We’d definitely recommend it and would go there again. The homemade toasts were huge and banging too. Just spread some butter + jam and it’s perfection!
