The Greatest Show on Earth

Our experience watching Franco Dragone’s The House of Dancing Water, started when weI first saw it at the theatre’s control room. It was the best seat in the house, having to sit right behind the show’s General Stage Manager. You get to have one of those headsets, so you’ll be able to hear the stage management and other theatre crew communicate all throughout the show. We didn’t hear Julia Roberts say, “No one. Just some guy from the past.”

At the control booth, you have the 360° view of the production. aside from having a great view of the stage/pool, you also get to see the monitors which show what’s happening backstage as well as the underwater views. Amaze..

I just want to share with you a few snapshots I’ve taken during my second and third time watching it. (Taking pictures is allowed in the Dancing Water Theatre but video recording and flash photography aren’t.)

It is not the greatest love story ever told, for as we all know, it’s the Pretty Woman; but there is no question that The House of Dancing Water is the greatest theatrical show on earth.

Be enchanted with these shots, thru a camera phone and from our 270-degree view of the performances.
